About
I’m an appreciator of the arts and a lover of nature who enjoys exploring the wilderness, drawing and meditating when I can escape from my busy lifestyle. I'm fascinated with the business, artistic, and spiritual aspects of working with the fur and bones of deceased animals. I descend from a long line of spiritual healers, and it is my belief that the remains of these animals still hold a part of who they once were, a shadow of their former selves. I treat my pieces like a curator does a museum collection. They are educational, artistic guides created by nature. Each piece is handled with the utmost care and are greatly respected.
I began my journey in 2011 when I commissioned a mount to use as a life-sized model for my artwork. Since then, my interest in the nature of animal parts collecting had grown into the collection it is today. Each day I learn something new, and I am humbled by the presence of the animals I hold in my collection. My goal is to learn all I can about nature including the nature of life, death, and preserving what we've been given.
